Urban Botanics Oil-Free Moisturizer Review

Urban Botanics Oil-Free Moisturizer

Oil-free moisturizers are something that I always look out for because though my skin is not extremely oily, somehow I start sweating excessively on the application of moisturizers. Recently, many brands have launched their oil-free moisturizer in the market and one such is from the brand Urban Botanics which I recently gave a try and hence will be sharing my opinion about the same.

My opinion about the Urban Botanics Oil-Free Moisturizer:

This particular moisturizer comes in a pump in the bottle, which for me is very convenient and handy for usage. So initially when you pump the moisturizer, by the look of it, it seems to be creamy and oily. But in reality, after application, it actually feels like it mattified my skin, which is great!

I have normal to combination skin, which isn’t acne-prone, but then at times when I get 2/3 acne too, this moisturizer acts wonderfully, in the sense it doesn’t aggravate my acne at all. It is completely non-greasy, non-sticky and very much lightweight. Has a little weird fragrance, slightly medicinal, but that again isn’t strong enough to cause irritation.

Packaging:

The moisturizer comes in an opaque white pump in a bottle which is sleek and also has a transparent cap. The packaging is travel-friendly.

Consistency and Fragrance:

It actually feels to be rightly an oil-free moisturizer though it has a creamy consistency. Has a mild medicinal kind of fragrance.

Pros of the Urban Botanics Oil-Free Moisturizer:
  • It doesn’t make the skin oily, meaning it rightly claims that it is oil-free
  • It is non-comedogenic
  • Free of SLS, paraben and other harmful chemicals
  • Comes in a pump in the bottle which is convenient to use
  • The packaging is sleek and travels friendly
Cons of the Urban Botanics Oil-Free Moisturizer
  • Someone might not like the fragrance (though it is mild)
My skin loves this moisturizer, it gets absorbed well and never has given me any breakouts since the time I started using it.
