I am not really a face oil person, but then I do like using kumkumadi oil at times. I have tried kumkumadi oil from a few brands to date and they seem to work well on my skin (I have normal to combination skin type). I recently got my hands on this kumkumadi oil from Jayabharatham Ayurveda which is a made-in-India brand based out of Kerala. So I have been using this one for a month now and hence wanted to share my opinion about the same:

My opinion about the Jayabharatham Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil:
Being a Made in India brand, Jayabharatham Ayurveda has a varied range of skincare products, also immunity booster kit, and much more. They follow the traditional method of manufacturing goods and their all products aim at bringing authentic traditional Ayurveda into modern day easy-to-use cosmetics.
Coming to my review of their kumkumadi oil, the oil is completely non-sticky, non-greasy, very lightweight and gets absorbed into the skin well. Kumkumadi oil, which literally translates to Saffron Oil in English is a blend of some amazing oils which help bring a glow to the skin. I started using this oil as a part of my nighttime skincare routine and I can see that glow on my face when I get up in the morning.
Additionally, I can see my acne scars (I had a few) fading off with time with its usage. After using this, I don’t feel the need for a moisturizer as it even hydrates the skin really well. Also, you can see actual saffron in the bottle which is super amazing!

The oil comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. The oil is not thick and is yellowish-orange in colour.
Pros of the Jayabharatham Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil:

- Has no artificial colour or fragrance
- Has actual saffron in it
- Is completely non-sticky, non-greasy, gets absorbed well in the skin
- I can see acne scars fading with its regular usage
- I don’t need a moisturizer after its usage at night as it gives good hydration to the skin
