Since the breakout of the Covid19 pandemic, masking, and usage of sanitizers have become the new normal. Hardly there were Indian citizens before this pandemic who were regular users of sanitizers, but now you see it has become a must-have for all of us! So many brands are coming up with sanitizers in the market and also Patanjali isn’t running out of this race too! Recently when looking to buy for a sanitizer, came across this hand sanitizer by Patanjali and hence gave it a try. So let me today talk about my experience with this one:

Product Claim and Key Ingredients:
My opinion about the Patanjali Hand Sanitizer:
Now that so many brands are coming up with hand sanitizers, it becomes really difficult to figure out which one is a really authentic one. Considering the fact that this Patanjali hand sanitizer is made of a blend of 99% pure alcohol, seems it is an authentic one.
But I don’t really understand the fact as to what is the requirement of ayurvedic things like tulsi, neem or aloe vera in a hand sanitizer! Leaving aside that fact, this sanitizer has a typically strong fragrance, which is quite pungent and probably won’t be acceptable for sensitive noses.
The good part of this one is that it doesn’t dry out the hands (maybe the ayurvedic ingredients help it prevent drying, not sure though!!). But I don’t think I will be repurchasing this sanitizer again as my nose is very much sensitive for the strong fragrance that it has.
Packaging:
The sanitizer comes in a round base and a thin neck bottle which is transparent. It comes with a flip open cap which has a hole inside; the packaging is spill-proof and also travel friendly.

Consistency and Fragrance:
The Patanjali Hand Sanitizer comes in a very light greenish color. The smell is really pungent, not like those of alcoholic smell, but some strong medicinal smell which is very hard to bear!
Pros of the Patanjali Hand Sanitizer:
- Easily available
- Budget-friendly
- Doesn’t dry out hands unlike many other sanitizers
- Travel-friendly packaging
Cons of the Patanjali Hand Sanitizer:
- Extremely strong fragrance
